I am a total foodie so I love it when I have a weekend planned with an unforgettable meal.
There is a chef here in STL that is capitalizing on the whole underground dining concept. He bought an old restaurant space downtown and started his own dining club. It is kind of like joining birchbox or pinterest, but you also fill out a questionnaire, then you wait and wait and wait. After weeks of waiting I finally got the invite. You need this invite to make reservations and his restaurant theme changes about 3 to 4 times a year so you need to act quickly.
This pop up and chef has been interviewed for just about every STL publication there is and he has been featured on STL Today. This weekend I am finally going to his current pop up and just in time. His current restaurant "AGood Man is Hard to Find" is only open for another 2 weeks, then in June he will debut an entirely new concept.
I love it when someone takes a leap of faith and it works out, that's what makes life grand!!
