It's Fall!

This past weekend we had what I felt was our first official Fall weekend. There was definitely a chill in the air, the pumpkin patches are open for business, Starbucks is serving pumpkin spice lattes, and I started to decorate our front porch for the season. I found some porches online to help jumpstart my creativity.

love wrapping columns with corn stalks...
a very simple display of pumpkins and mums....

I love the idea of drilling holes in pumpkins, something different from your typical jack -o- lantern...orange mums framing your door....
a pumpkin topiary..
I love that all these porches will easily work through Thanksgiving. I feel like anything I put up that screams Halloween must come down November 1st.

Happy Fall!!

  1. Hi Jill! Thanks for the lovely comments. I love all this inspiration!! It rained here all weekend so I didn't get to start on the porch. These are giving me great ideas to begin with:)

  2. I pinned some of those same porches. I like the idea of mixing the two. I put up a little Halloween, then decorate the rest so I can transition into November. Great ideas!
