Back to Reality

After spending a week in the sun, in the fairy tale land also know as the 30A, it so hard to come back to responsibilities, cold weather, jobs...also known as life.

For an entire week I did not have a care in the world, I spent my days on the beach, my afternoon biking around the town, and my nights sipping bubbly the hubs....

it was heaven!!

On one of those afternoon biking tours I came across an extensive collection of Mara Hoffman and LemLem at a cute little boutique.  If you are looking for some additions to your spring/summer wardrobe, look no further!!

Mara Hoffmann closed her show with this stunner...

Good Bye 2014

We had another fun filled Christmas that went by way to fast.  If I am being honest 2014 went way to fast.

This time of year is always filled with a little excitement; new year, new start, new chance to reinvent yourself and a little melancholy because time marches on.  I think this is greatly intensified once you have children and you see them grown up right before your eyes.

So if you are feeling a little blue I have a way to snap you out of it...

go shopping, the sales are insane!!

Here are a few things I picked up at Anthropologie

and then Banana Republic

 who doesn't need sweaters right??

If you are starting off the new year with a new workout your in luck at lululemon

Mama needs a new pair of shoes (booties)

and a little bling

cheers to 2014

Fringe and Feathers

If I have learned one thing from NYFW this year, it is that fringe and feathers will be big this season...

OP's skirt was amazing but it will set you back a couple thousands

I did find a few, though not as cute (of course) but definitely more budget friendly
still pricey but when compared to MK it is a steal

this one is perfect for any budget.

If you are on the prowl for an ostrich feather skirt, this one is so cute
and won't break the bank.

and I saved the best for last, obsessed with this dress
would be perfect for all the upcoming holiday events!!

I am especially excited that 2 purses I bought years ago will now be totally on trend again

It's good to be a hoarder!!

I'll take it!

One of the perks that comes with the change of seasons are the incredible sales, there are some great ones going on right now so ladies shop away.  The hubs and I are heading to Costa Rica in October, where it will be 90 degrees so I am definitely thinking of new items I can use on our trip, and taking advantage of every mark down.

The Lilly sale was just insane.
All I kept thinking was these dresses would be perfect for our dinners in CR

I know it's over but I hope you did not miss it!!

Obsessed with the dress,  the cutouts are perfect
I don't think I can wait until our trip to wear this, it might be making it's debut this weekend

We will be doing a lot of hiking on this trip
these shorts are perfect

There is also a surf school at our resort

since we will be learning to surf,  I will need this rash guard shirt

The perfect beach strolling shoe

The cutest walking to town shorts

and a few more goodies from Jcrew

Happy Shopping!!

Things I need

Do you ever see someone with a cute pair of shoes, outfit, piece of jewelry, anything and then you literally become obsessed with acquiring that cute piece?

That happens to me all the time...

Last week at bar method this girl next to me had the cutest workout/stirrup pants and now I need these...
I would never of thought to shop for workout clothes at Victoria's Secret.

and then I saw someone else in these cute socks...

 and yes I bought both

then I was watching WWHL a couple days ago and Lea Michele was on and Andy gave her this

and I knew it was the perfect birthday gift for my friend Mollie, then I realized it was the perfect gift for me too, so I had to order 2.

Things I need does not only pertain to clothes, I was watching FoodNetwork over the weekend and right now I need to make these chicken sliders from The Pioneer Woman

and now I think I need to have a dinner party so I can make this...
that Pioneer Woman can cook!!

And finally,  I need these...
non slip sparkle headbands, they come in 5 different colors and I need every last one!!
