Last week when I was at the Four Season's with my friends, 2 fabulous things kept happening while we were at the pool....

First, every hour our waiter would come by and spray us all down with Evian body spray. It was a light misting of water to keep us nice and cool in the hot sun....umm hell yeah I'll let you mist me. I tried to get my kids and hubby to mist me at the pool over the weekend but all I got was some kind of pathetic look from them.

Second, between our hourly mistings, our waiter would also come by with frozen grapes. Between the mist, the grapes, and the mojitos I felt like a goddess.
I am now obsessed with frozen grapes. The keys to this, is to lay them out individually on a cookie sheet before you put them in the freezer, other wise you will have a big clump of frozen grapes. I just cannot get enough of these grapes, they are the perfect snack for the dog days of summer, they are light, refreshing and since they are frozen they have a bit of crunch. If you are looking for a new summer snack I highly recommend tossing a handful in the freezer, you will have a new obsession I promise!!!

  1. I love frozen grapes too! We used to eat them all the time when I was growing up but honestly I forgot about them until now. Freezing a batch today! Hope you had a great 4th!

  2. Dear Jill,

    Thank you for the idea.

We have a teether over here!

  3. my mom loves frozen grapes! I'm more of a frozen banana fan myself! Getting misted by evian-ugh sounds perfect about now.

  4. Getting misted sounds wonderful! You mean they didnt feed you the grapes!

  5. I love frozen grapes!! Good reminder, such a refreshing treat for summer : )

  6. Heaven! I saw a lady when we were watching fireworks with a plastic water bottle that had been chilled. She kept spraying her kids down and they LOVED it!

  7. I'm totally laughing at you laying by the pool, looking at your kids, "mist mommy, mist mommy!" . The kids faces must have been priceless!
And I used to LOVE frozen grapes, and somehow have forgotten all about them, so happy you've reminded me :-)
