Skirting the Issue

The New York Times did a feature story on the hot piece for Spring...the maxi skirt/dress. Stylish women all over New York were photographed wearing the latest trend, and in my opinion, looking absolutely fabulous.
I love this casual maxi skirt from Splendid,
and for those of us with deeper pockets, this Leifsdottir number would be my splurge.
Only 20 days until Spring!!

    If I wan't so short I would definitely love to wear something like this. However I would end up looking somewhat like Mary Kate & Ashley frumpy style.

    I love all of those NYC street pics! Loves seeing real women in action sporting the look! I already have a few maxi dresses and cant wait to branch into the skirt this Spring!

    I love this look, but I think I'm way too short to pull it off! I would end up looking like a hobo, but I think it looks fabulous on taller women!

    Hahaha I'm so glad you have other short friends. I was thinking the same thing.. I'm way to short for a maxi skirt but I love rocking the maxi DRESS. They are the most comfortable things ever!

    P.S. did you make that chicken? It looks like a great recipe.
