Here is my favorite artist rendition of Art Hill
With all the snow and snow days we've had this past week, a date night with Dan was in order. Saturday night we bundle up and headed out for dinner, drinks, and adult conversation.
Superbowl Sunday was the perfect excuse to indulge in more great food. We had some friends over to watch the game and drink some wine. I made these, which were absolutely delicious. In my book, anything from Southern Living is a definite winner. I used slider buns so they were a little bit smaller,
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. mayo
1/2 c. parmesan cheese
1 small jar of pimentos drained
5 green onions, chopped
In a skillet, brown the sausage. Drain the fat and transfer to a bowl. Mix in sour cream, mayo, parmesan, pimento and green onions. Place dip into a baking dish and bake at 350 for 30 min. Serve with triscuits, enjoy, and run an extra mile in the morning!!
Yummy food! I love to make sloppy joes with cole slaw. We had cheese soup with sloppy joes during the game. :-)
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great date night too!
Sounds like the perfect weekend. I had sushi Friday night, too! So delicious!
ReplyDeleteYour spicy sausage dip sounds divine. I will have to make it sometime (I LOVE sausage!). I, also, agree with you about Southern Living. I don't think I've ever made a bad recipe. :)
I made the most wonderful shrimp and sausage stew for the game. I will post the recipe in the near future!
Happy Monday!
Yummy! You had me at "Spicy"!!! I am loving anything spicy right now! I will def have to try this recipe!
ReplyDeleteSounds so fun!!! I don't think I've ever been sledding at art hill! Wimpy me wouldn't like all the people! Glad you had a great weekend!!! What's the best sushi place in STL? I don't really like sushi I'm just nosy!
ReplyDeleteSounds like an amazing weekend!! And that dip... delish!
Art Hill looks like so much fun! I love that there is a place where everyone goes sledding, such a great tradition :-)
