I love the concept of "dinner on the go" in regards to a traveling food truck. Nowadays almost every successful restaurant has some type of mobile kitchen. Every Tuesday during the summer, also know as Food Truck Tuesdays, 15 food trucks will be parked from 5pm until dark at the park right across the street from my house. The menus will be a surprise....
you can get really into the traveling food trucks by following them on twitter or checking their websites for when and where they were last seen...
I am so excited Holy Crepe! will be at the park tomorrow, I have "followed" this one before when I have that craving for a french crepe....
We are meeting my older sister and her family at the park for some good food...
and thank goodness there is also the traveling wine bar...
If you are looking for something new, find the food trucks in your city....I promise you will have a fabulous meal!
My husband and I LOVE food trucks! We have a bunch of great ones here in Nashville. I have not seen a traveling wine truck though, what a fabulous idea:)

ReplyDeleteIn the last year or so Chicago has jumped on this trend and they are everywhere downtown. I've only tried the ones selling cupcakes but I need to venture out and try some other ones. Fun fun!!

The food truck "parks" are popping up here in San Antonio too! I have been begging my husband to go with me but I might just have to make a run on my own! Love the idea of a traveling wine truck too! Just found your blog and am your newest follower :)

ReplyDeleteFood trucks are convenient, accessible and affordable. People need not search for places to eat when they have food trucks right in front of them. It’s like a meal on-the-go! A healthy French crepe would make a fabulous snack! Hmmm… :D
