After brunch we are off to Matthew and Libby's piano recital. They have been working on their holiday songs non-stop the past 2 months. I can't even think because all that is ever running through my head is "We Wish you a Merry Christmas"
Saturday evening, Dan and I are taking a hands on cooking class together.
Our menu for the night is.....
Crab cakes with chipotle aioli, spinach salad, porterhouse steak with caramelized onion gravy, homemade French fries, and creme brule. They serve wine at this class, so that will about do it for me!!
Sounds like another fabulous day for you! I have always wanted to do a cooking class! Let me know how it goes and wine always makes cooking more fun!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great day! I love tradition. The "Big Bear Brunch" should be a fun time for you and Libby! :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to take a cooking class with the mister. I tried to get him to go to Mexico for an authentic 5-day class, but no such luck. Perhaps I need to start small.
Where do you find such a class? A cooking store? Community?
I'm going to look.
Have fun!
Sounds so fun! The Pennisula has a brunch like that but Keira is still too young. Maybe next year! :-)
ReplyDeleteI think I went to the Big Bear Brunch one year! So FUN!!! Sounds like a great weekend!!!!
