I keep hearing about the hot new hair trend "feathering"Not Farrah Fawcett feathers, but having real feather extensions in your hair.
You can wash, dry, curl, flat iron and style your hair and feather, and it will stay in for months.I am undecided on this trend...sometimes I love the look of feathers....
and sometimes not!!
Maybe I'll get a wild feather and do this to my hair!!
Go for it! Maybe you can start with a feather clip or something!
ReplyDeleteI reminds me of Steven Tyler, hippies and roach clips. :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'm "cool" enough to pull it off.
I keep hearing about this too, but I am not a huge fan. Its too trendy. Might be fun for one day but I would get sick of it and I know the jokes from my husband would be rentless if I put feathers in my hair!
ReplyDeleteI am still not sure either. I think it takes a certain feather or a certain style to make it work. I do like the first pic and the second photo from the last though.
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about these today. I really want to try them. Not sure I have to time to maintain them. But they are so cute on the people that have them. Great post. Loving your blog. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI would love for you to stop by fash boulevard again soon. xoxo

Personally, I would pass on the feather trend. But maybe a small one or two with your blonde hair might be cute for summer.
ReplyDeleteMy stepdaughter was wearing one on a clip in her hair the other day - I had to tell her that when I was her age, those were called "roach clips" and only the stoner girls wore them. She just shrugged her shoulders and laughed.
If I was a decade younger, I would definitely be doing this trend (and hopefully staying away from the rainbowbrite feathers)
ReplyDeleteA girl on my floor had one first semester, and by second semester 5 other girls on the floor had feathers in their hair! I thought it looked so good on them, but I don't know if I could pull it off!
ReplyDeleteI'll pass...but they look cool on others. :)
