Last week while in Beaver Creek, I had a chance to sit with my friend in the village, sipping wine, and do some people (clothing) watching. Colorado is definitely a laid back state, there is more of a causal vibe when it comes to outfits. I did not see many dresses, stilettos, or anything frilly. I did however see many, many pairs of the Joan of Arctic Sorel boots. I saw these boots with jeans, leggings, ski pants, and tights and skirts. My friend Heather posted a few weeks ago that these boots are all over Chicago as well. When I see something and like it, I instantly become obsessed. By day 4 I couldn't stand it any more and high tailed it into a store and bought a pair. I know it seems crazy to buy these boots when it is technically Spring, but I am so glad I did.
I came home on Saturday to this.....
At least my feet were dry and warm!

ReplyDeleteTrue story Jill.. The woman who wrote "Water for Elephants" is the wife of my former boss! He left our company b/c she got a $5 million advance for her next book and he didn't have to work any longer. :-)
ReplyDeleteThose boots are so cute, Jill! Enjoy them- they look comfy too! Hugs xx
