I'll take a dirty martini.

Cocktails Anyone?
I love when people post their OOTD, I have never done that because usually I am standing around in my robe, in my closet, trying to figure out what I am going to wear. I have a casual cocktail party on Friday night and I am ahead of the game, I think I know what I am wearing.....I usually don't have much luck at H & M, but about a month ago I saw this top in the window and knew I just couldn't pass it by. I have not worn it yet and I am thinking tomorrow might be the perfect night for its debut. This top is a light weight material, flowy, perfect for the Spring, and so cute on. I am wearing it with my Hue ankle length leggings, TB heels and Kate Spade clutch.

Ra Ra Rachel
I first heard of Rachel Roy a few years back when watching "The City." Olivia Palermo went to Rachel's studio to pull some pieces for an Elle spread. For me, it was love at first site. Rachel designs jewelry, clothing, and shoes, all which I think are amazing. Our Macys here in STL has a very limited supply of some of her goodies, but you can find most of her loot here. I am not a big Macy's shopper, but anything for you Rachel!

Joan of Arctic
Last week while in Beaver Creek, I had a chance to sit with my friend in the village, sipping wine, and do some people (clothing) watching. Colorado is definitely a laid back state, there is more of a causal vibe when it comes to outfits. I did not see many dresses, stilettos, or anything frilly. I did however see many, many pairs of the Joan of Arctic Sorel boots. I saw these boots with jeans, leggings, ski pants, and tights and skirts. My friend Heather posted a few weeks ago that these boots are all over Chicago as well. When I see something and like it, I instantly become obsessed. By day 4 I couldn't stand it any more and high tailed it into a store and bought a pair. I know it seems crazy to buy these boots when it is technically Spring, but I am so glad I did.
I came home on Saturday to this.....
At least my feet were dry and warm!

Not Exactly Roughing It...
That is the Beaver Creek motto....and I personally love it.We kicked off vacation with some mountain side cocktails before our first day of skiing.
Matthew started off the vacation trying to learn to snowboard, but quickly realized he needed to stick with skiing.Libby was a natural on skis
they both loved every minute of it!!
Dan and I at the summit of Beaver Creek, a balmy -10 degreeslunch/cocktail break on Beaver Creek Mountain with my brother in law Jerry and his girlfriend Kari who came over for 3 days from Denver.
Jerry and I "chillin" on the mountain top ice couch
We met up with some of our STL friends...
we ate,
we drank,
we bowled.
I got to spend some time with my brother in law Jerry (and his girlfriend Kari)and we had a chance to go out for an adult only dinner at "Kelly Liken" from Top Chef.
Our last day, no ski school for the kids, they were ready to take on the mountain....
Our last night we met up with our friends again for a s'mores roast.
Finally, a montage of photos we took in the village.....hands down, one of our best trips!!
