The LBD

I have been eyeing this cute little J Crew dress for awhile so I decided it was time to buy it. This dress is so flattering and so comfortable (well at least for the 5 mins I had it on in the dressing room) I also bought a skinny, silver, sparkle belt to jazz it up a bit. I love how J Crew is belting almost everything. This LBD will be making the trip to Nashville with me.

Nashville Weekend

This coming weekend I will be in Nashville for my soon to be sister in law's bachelorette weekend. We have a fun filled weekend planned. I am always telling my husband I was born 10 years too soon. This summer Dan and I will celebrate our 13th anniversary, 13 years ago a bachelorette party was going downtown, drinking and dancing then going home. Today the brides get a whole weekend, I think that is a fabulous idea!!

Summer Reading

Yesterday a package from amazon.com arrived on my doorstep with my first installment of my summer reading. I can't wait to get started. The only problem is, I don't know which one to read first!!

My New Love

Lately I have been hearing a lot of buzz about "Stella & Dot" jewelry, so I had to check it out for myself. I went to their website and it was love at first sight, so much that I am hosting a party this Wednesday night. I will be serving "stellatinis"- raspberry lemonade, sprite and vodka at the party. I have marked some of my favorite pieces, if you are anything like me, one stellatini and I will be buying everything is sight!!

It's 5 o'clock somewhere

Do you ever wake up Monday morning and think, "where did my weekend go?" I already know that is the question I will be asking myself Monday. With 3 kids it is very easy to spend Saturdays running to softball games, girl scout activities, and birthday parties. I am calling it quits for today. Pour me a skinny margarita, thank God I have a babysitter tonight!!

Tax Day Blues

Back in the dead of Winter I bought this cute little number for the Spring/Summer. One way to cheer me up from "tax day blues" is to put on something cute. The president may have my money but he will never get my clothes!!

The Scent of Summer

With Spring in full swing it is time to get out my favorite scent for this time of year. I just LOVE Bobbi Brown "Beach" you really smell like you are GOING to spend the day at the beach, not the scent you have AFTER a day at the beach. I love the perfume but the body oil is perfect to hydrate my skin after a long winter. If you have never smelled "Beach" I highly recommend high tailing it to Saks and checking it out

The Best Hair Dryer EVER

If you happen to live by a Beauty First, you need to run to the closest one. This week they are running a special on the pink FHI hair dryer . This dryer is usually $150 but for one week you can get it for $50. If you have long hair like I do you know how important a good hair dryer is and in my opinion this one really is the best. I promise you will have THE best looking hair.

Sister, Sister

One of my sisters was in town visiting this week. I never realize how much I miss her until she is back home!! We had a great time this week and we really did nothing, just a lot of hanging out and drinking wine. To sisters!!

Little Monster

Lady Gaga is coming back to STL!! She was here in January, but I had to buy my ticket off Craigslist and I paid 5 times the face value, worth every penny. This time my friends and I had our acts together. We are now proud owners of the "little monster" package. I am sure we are in for quite the night. Anyone who has seen her live knows that she is definitely an entertainer. Now what to wear??

Living Room makeover

We have been in our new home for about 6 weeks and I have a living room which I did not have in my old house. This room will be a little more formal than our family room and there will be no TV in this room. I am on the hunt for a convex mirror to hang above my fireplace. I have seen some online but would like to check it out it person before I buy one.
